Discover the peaceful village with many interesting traditional crafts on the outskirts of Hoi An with The Hygge Farm.

Located 20km from the center of Hoi An city is a small, peaceful village called Que Son Trung. In this village is a farm called The Hygge Farm. The farm owner is a young farmer who has had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world and return to support the community where he was born. He started the Hygge Farm project with the mission of connecting international volunteers and tourists with local people and children, building an educational farm, and becoming a bridge between tourists and people practicing traditional local crafts. Many international tourists and volunteers have visited the village through The Hygge Farm. They get to live and work on a peaceful, lush, traditional farm in central Vietnam. The farm owner takes them to local farming families to learn about traditional crafts such as making rice noodles, sugar from sugarcane, tofu making, rice wine, cassava noodles, and cakes from local leaves. They experience the authenticity and hospitality of the farmers who earn their living through these traditional occupations. There was no sense of the traditional craft villages set up for tourists to watch in the center of Hoi An city. Moreover, they were guided on a trekking trip to a stream 10km from the farm to enjoy the fresh air and immerse themselves in the cool water. They were also recognized for their volunteer activities such as teaching English to underprivileged children and helping local people with farming... These were memorable experiences in their exploration journey.
